    Do you make everything yourself?

    Yes, absolutely! Every item is carefully handmade by me, with lots of love, time and attention to detail. No mass production here - just meaningful, thoughtful pieces designed to bring joy.

    How Long Will My Order Take?

    Because everything is handmade to order, processing times can vary depending on my current workload. You'll always find the most up-to-date estimated dispatch time in the banner at the bottom of my website - I update it regularly so you know what to expect. At the moment, it's around 2-3 weeks, but this can change during busy times.

    If you need your order by a specific date, you're very welcome to get in touch before ordering and I'll do my best to accommodate you.

    Do You Offer Personalisation?

    Yes! Many of my items can be personalised to make them extra special. Please check the product listing for personalisation options and be sure to double-check all spellings when placing an order - I'll make it exactly as requested.

    Can I return my order?

    Returns are accepted only for faulty or damaged items. Unfortunately, I do not accept returns on personalised or custom-made orders, or if you've simply changed your mind. If your item arrives damaged, please contact me within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos.

    Do You Ship Internationally?

    Yes, I currently ship to the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.

    Please note: I do not ship to the European Union or Northern Ireland at this time due to the implementation of the EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) on 13 December 2024. This regulation requires businesses selling to these regions to appoint a Responsible Economic Operator within the EU or Northern Ireland, which is not feasible for my small business at this time. I appreciate you understanding and hope to find a solution in the future.

    Important for USA Customers: From 7 August 2025, all goods shipped from the UK to the USA are subject to a 10% import duty. This applies to all items, including low-value orders. Customs charges, tariffs, handling fees and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

    International deliver times vary and any customs or import charges of all international destinations are the customer's responsibility.

    Will I Receive Tracking Information?

    You'll receive a dispatch email once your order is on its way. Some delivery services will include tracking, depending on your location and the shipping option selected.

    Do You Offer Digital Downloads?

    Not yet - but I plan to offer printable digital gifts and downloads in the future! Once available, these will be delivered by email or download link after purchase.

    Please note that digital items will be non-refundable once accessed or downloaded.

    Can I Send My Order As A Gift?

    Yes! My handmade items make lovely gifts. If you'd like to send something directly to a recipient, just enter their name and address at the checkout. I never include prices in the package. You can also add a personal gift message in the notes to seller section and I will hand write your message on one of my Mella's Makings note cards and pop it in with your order.

    Will My Handmade Item Look Exactly Like The Photo?

    Because everything is handmade, each item is truly unique. There may be slight variations in colour, shape or design details - but that's part of what makes handmade so special. I always aim to make sure your item is as beautiful as pictured.

    Can I See Photos Of My Custom Order?

    If you'd like to see a photo before dispatch, let me know at checkout or send me a message. I am happy to share a picture when possible, especially for highly personalised pieces.

    Do You Share Customer Photos?

    never share personal photos without your permission. If you've sent me an image (for example to personalise your order), I may ask if I can share it with the final product on social media, but it's completely up to you. If, however, you post a photo of your Mella's Makings product on Social Media or as part of your product review, I may use that photo for promotional purposes.
